How to request deletion of your SuperCFO account and data

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove:

  • Your account information (email, name, profile picture)
  • All uploaded PDF financial documents
  • All extracted text from your documents
  • All AI-generated analysis results and reports
  • All dashboard visualizations and data
  • Your usage history and preferences

How to Request Data Deletion

Method 1: Delete Your Account (Recommended)

If you have an active account, you can delete it directly:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to your account settings or profile page
  3. Look for "Delete Account" or "Data Deletion" option
  4. Confirm the deletion request
  5. Your data will be deleted within 30 days

Method 2: Email Request

If you cannot access your account or prefer email, send a deletion request to us:

Include the following information in your email:

  • Subject: "Data Deletion Request - SuperCFO"
  • Your email address associated with your SuperCFO account
  • Your name (if you signed up with Google/Facebook and it's different from your email)
  • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account and all data

Method 3: Facebook App Data Deletion

If you signed up using Facebook, you can also request deletion through Facebook:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy
  2. Click on "Settings"
  3. Click on "Apps and Websites"
  4. Find "SuperCFO" in the list
  5. Click "Remove" to revoke access and request data deletion

Note: This removes Facebook's connection to our app, but to fully delete your SuperCFO data, please also use Method 1 or 2 above.

Data Deletion Timeline

  • Immediate: Your account will be deactivated and you will no longer have access
  • Within 30 days: All your data will be permanently deleted from our production database
  • Within 90 days: All data will be removed from backups and archives

What Data May Be Retained?

We may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or legal compliance:

  • Transaction records for accounting and tax purposes (as required by law, typically 7 years)
  • Aggregated, anonymized data for analytics (with all personal identifiers removed)
  • Information necessary to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or comply with legal requirements

Note: This retained data will be minimal and will not contain your personal information or uploaded documents.

Verification Process

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing the deletion:

  • Confirm the email address associated with your account
  • Answer security questions
  • Provide additional verification if needed

Confirmation

Once your data has been deleted, we will send you a confirmation email to notify you that the process is complete.

Before deleting your account, you may want to download your data. Log in to your account and use the "Download PDF" feature to save your analysis reports locally.
